It’s discouraging
Members seem to be leaving Xanga is increasing numbers. Soc will continue here as well as his mirror sites on WP and LJ – but some response to his posts would be appreciated. If you no longer think Socrates Cafe is relevant, say so – a sort of vote of no confidence.

Am I linked yet to Socrates Cafe on WordPress??
Always think Socrates was a good idea and hope it will continue on whatever platform available.
I comment every time I see one of your blogs posted. I don’t know if I’m going to continue blogging after Xanga makes the move to WP or shuts down.
@Zeal4living - @TheSutraDude - I actually have two mirror sites right now. One on WP (socratescafe2.wordpress.com) and one on LJ (socrates-cafe2.livejournal.com) Please check them out.I have decided to contribute $48 to xanga2 for one year sub (thanks for the suggestion Jurgens)
I do read when I see that you’ve posted. Sorry that I don’t always comment.
Hope seems to be fading. Perhaps I will follow your lead and take the $48 plunge.
@Socrates_Cafe - Thank you for doing your bit. I will also sign up at WordPress. My life journal account has been inactive for some time and I dont log in there often.
I feel the same way. Many of the people who read my blogs seem to have abandoned Xanga already and follow me on WordPress. I’m going to stick around until the end, but publish on WordPress as well.
aren’t we all going to Xanga 2.0?
Socrates is always relevant!
I’m going to catch you over at LJ.
I’ve begun following on WordPress. I’ve been more active there lately anyway.
I’ll just plod along pontificating until xanga closes the shutters on me, then I’ll try other means to the end of expressing myself, probably livejournal, if it’s free. Why buy a book when there’s a library.
